Penjet

Jaan Evart, Penjet, Lugemik, 2017

Penjet uses the movement of the print head to draw with an attached pen and shows the handwriting of the machine, some examples are fine and straight, others messy and clumsy. Penjet was a collaboration project by Gerrit Rietveld Academie students Jaan Evart (EE), Daniel Maarleveld (NL) and Julian Hagen (AT). It originated from the workshop “Uncommon Usage” given by Jürg & Urs Lehni (CH) in Amsterdam, 2006.
